This allows companies like Empire Standard, who are already familiar with growing cannabis for use in CBD, to now sell products with a high concentration of THC. ALBANY – Park Strategies, the Albany lobbying firm founded by US Senator Alfonse D’Amato, says it has created a new practice focused on regulating cannabis.

The new group will be based in Syracuse. One of its first clients is the New York Cannabis Growers and Processors Association. The state recently approved the sale of recreational marijuana, although details of how the stores will operate have yet to be decided. Medical marijuana is sold in a small number of dispensaries, although the product types are strictly limited to pills, edibles, and vaping products.
